00:04today to give Scotsman readers my three top takeaways from our latest Growth Tracker.

00:11First of all, businesses are telling us that they've made a great start to the second half

00:15of the year, with two months of strong output momentum. Secondly, they're also reporting

00:22that the increases in costs that they're seeing are at the weakest levels that they've experienced

00:29for the last three years, indicating that inflationary pressures are finally easing.

00:35And thirdly, they are reporting expectations about future levels of business and confidence

00:42as highest as they've been in the last 18 months. Thank you for listening.
