00:00The border area between Jordan and the occupied West Bank now sealed off.

00:05The Israeli army has closed the Allenby Bridge crossing until further notice, following the

00:10attack that killed three Israeli security guards the Sunday morning.

00:14Authorities say a man approached in a truck from the Jordanian side of the border before

00:18opening fire.

00:19We were at the entrance of the checkpoints with several vehicles.

00:26We suddenly heard gunfire, it was far away.

00:30Then we saw the border closing.

00:33After a few minutes, military and police troops arrived and told us to turn around.

00:41The alleged assailant was later killed by Israeli soldiers, and Prime Minister Benjamin

00:45Netanyahu offered his condolences to the families of the victims.

00:51This is a difficult day.

00:52A despicable terrorist murdered three of our citizens on the Allenby Bridge in cold blood.

00:57The murderers do not distinguish between us.

01:08The Allenby crossing is mainly used by Palestinians and international tourists, as well as for

01:13cargo shipments.

01:15The crossing has seen few security incidents over the years, but in 2014, Israeli security

01:20guards shot and killed a Jordanian national who they said had attacked them.

01:24The latest attack comes as the Israeli army steps up large-scale military operations in

01:29the occupied West Bank in recent weeks.
