00:00Finally, after several months of hiding, the authorities finally caught Pastor Apolo Quibuloy.

00:07After he was arrested last night, he was immediately transferred from Davao to Manila

00:13and sent directly to the PNP Custodial Facility in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

00:17But according to Quibuloy's lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio,

00:21the pastor voluntarily surrendered to the Armed Forces of the Philippines,

00:25in particular to the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces, or ISAFP.

00:30According to PNP Spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo,

00:34the negotiation started at 1.30 p.m.

00:37and Quibuloy was given an ultimatum to surrender within 24 hours.

00:44Fajardo also confirmed that Quibuloy was arrested inside the KOJC compound

00:49with the help of the PNP and AFP.

00:53After Quibuloy was arrested, Senator Riza Juntiveros promised

00:57that he will answer for all of his crimes

01:00and will continue the investigation of the Senate regarding his abuses,

01:04particularly those who are vulnerable in our society.
