00:00It was a big night for the Aussie swimming team, winning seven medals in the pool.

00:13His father Tony died in March, he'd already bought tickets to watch his son swim, and

00:18the Victorian swimmer dedicated the night to him.

00:21And what a night it was, he set a world record in the heat and led the final from start to

00:25finish, becoming the only man to defend the event in Paralympic history.

00:3017-year-old Callum Simpson surprised everyone by winning the men's S8 100m freestyle by

00:36a fingernail, it was that close, and Tim Hodges going home with three medals, adding a silver

00:41in the men's S9 100m butterfly to his two previous golds.

00:46Bronze in the pool too, to Lewis Bishop, Tom Gallagher, Emily Beecroft and Rachel Watson.

00:51And we've had to wait a long time to see flag-bearer Curtis McGrath, but he's easily

00:55through to tomorrow's finals in the Paracanoe.

00:59There's only one day of competition left in Paris, it'll be sad when it's over, but hang
