The European Union has delivered the first batch of 100,000 Mpox vaccines to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the epicenter of the new Mpox "clade 1b" strain. The EU plans to increase doses to 580,000.

00:20we responded to the request by bringing the vaccines that were available to be able to vaccinate the population at risk.
00:29The strategy is to contain the virus so that we can vaccinate the most affected areas.
