00:00For medical technology students to be industry-ready,
00:03this is the goal of the coordination of a private healthcare company and a university
00:09that has a Memorandum of Understanding.
00:11To further enhance the quality of knowledge of the students,
00:15a module was developed by Zafar Distributors, Inc. and the University of St. Thomas.
00:22The module is designed to enhance the skills of the next medical technology professionals.
00:29It will start with students who are still in internships
00:34that will be followed by incoming freshman students.
00:42We realized together that there are many gaps in the practice of medical technology
00:48that I mentioned earlier.
00:49And there has to be a different approach in addressing these gaps.
00:54We believe that we cannot do it by ourselves.
00:58These skills that we wanted to develop further
01:02as how we prepare our students to become industry-ready
01:06can be found or can be developed in our partner institutions or partner industries.
01:13So we are looking into this as a progressive in such a way
01:18that some levels of the module will be given in the first year,
01:22the second year, the third year, and in the fourth year.
