00:00Hello everyone. Today I am reviewing the Kettle Brand Potato Chips Jalapenos.

00:08Now, I like Jalapenos. I like them on hamburgers, I like them on hot dogs.

00:12I like them just in general. I even like the Jalapeno cheese,

00:15even so I kind of got to stay away from it a little bit.

00:19Cheese is not good for me to eat as much as it used to be.

00:22But I still do eat it occasionally.

00:24And this is also non-GMO. It's verified non-GMO, as you see there.

00:29And I actually also like the back of it.

00:32Like it says, Footprints, we invent a package then before 43% lasts.

00:38I don't even know what that means.

00:402019.

00:42But I like the picture. I like the packaging.

00:45I don't like the fact that it's not that big of a bag. It could be bigger.

00:50Because I do like these chips.

00:52But they do go up to here, so that's a good thing.

00:55A lot of people complain that the chips are mainly air.

00:58But still, to me, that's still a little bit more than half.

01:02So let's see here.

01:04It says, Our Natural Promise, Kettle Brand, Non-GMO Project Verified, Gluten Free.

01:10So I think all their Kettle Brand chips are gluten free, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

01:15Some flavors might just can't be gluten free, unfortunately.

01:19So let's see here.

01:21It says it has 250 calories, 20 saturated fat, trans fat is 8%, fiber is 11.

01:30I never knew. Well, I guess these ones.

01:3313% sodium, potassium is 13, and calcium is 1, and iron is 4.

01:39And potassium is very important.

01:42Especially when you get older.

01:44If you have a low potassium level, it's very important to have a banana or talk to your doctor.

01:50And your doctor might just describe potassium pills.

01:53But a banana every day would get your potassium up.

01:55Especially if you're tired, and you're kind of draggy.

01:58That's very important.

02:00Now, the main ingredients.

02:02Potatoes, vegetable oil, sugar, some words I can't pronounce.

02:07Salt, onion powder, spices, yeast, garlic powder, jalapeno peppers, well better be.

02:14Natural flavor, and dried parsley.

02:17So if you're allergic to parsley, because some people are, you won't be able to try these.

02:21And I forgot to introduce myself.

02:37I thought it actually had a Ziploc bag.

02:47I thought they added that.

02:48And I still think they should.

02:50Every bag of chips, or the more expensive bag of chips, anyway, should have a Ziploc bag.

02:55Instead of just folding them with those cheap clips you have, to have it fresh.

03:00You know, especially when you buy something like this, and you're on the road.

03:04I have a friend who works on the road all the time.

03:06And he said it would be great if he had a Ziploc bag.

03:09Or something that would just like, you know, just go click, click, click, click, click.

03:12And it would be fresh and easy to carry with you.

03:15Alright, so now I'm going to smell it.

03:20It doesn't smell like jalapeno.

03:23It's a nice smell though.

03:24I like the smell.

03:26Oh no, it's starting to smell like jalapeno.

03:28It's actually starting to clear my nose a little bit.

03:32I think it's my allergies.

03:33It's allergy season I guess.

03:35Leaves are falling off the tree.

03:36And it's only, well it is September 2nd now.

03:38But they were doing that.

03:39They were starting to fall off the tree in Ontario here in August.

03:44Okay, so now I'm going to try it.

03:47It looks interesting.

03:48Just like an ordinary chip really.

03:50But it's all, doesn't have powder on it.

04:01It's not a strong jalapeno flavor that I actually like.

04:13It is actually a nice flavor.

04:28I better stop eating these because I could sit down, put this in a bowl, watch a horror movie.

04:35That's my preferred choice.

04:36I like all sorts of movies, but horror movies are always my preferred choice.

04:41And I would easily finish this bag.

04:43This is actually quite, oh, I'm feeling a little bit of heat from the jalapeno now.

04:46So maybe if you ate it really fast you're going to start feeling a little bit of heat.

04:49But I like that.

04:50No, these are actually really good.

04:52They're jalapeno.

04:53They're well put together.

04:56As you can see.

05:06And they say it's a multi-layer bag.

05:08I'm not sure exactly what that means.

05:10I've seen that on a few chips lately.

05:12All right, everyone.

05:13I give this an actual 8 out of 10.

05:15I actually really like these.

05:17But normally Kettle Brand is my favorite.

05:19But I have tried some before that I have flat out not liked.

05:23So I do have another review up of Kettle Air Fried ones.

05:29And they're more of a regular chip.

05:31I think there might be a little flavor.

05:33I can't remember now.

05:34I just did it that long ago.

05:35I'm getting old.
