00:35things only for Chase not to show up or show up late to make Zach Taylor look a

00:39little bit fraudulent if you will. So Taylor now measuring his words quote

00:55contracts what say you. You know what the best part about this is like I

00:59actually feel bad for Zach Taylor and the reason I say this you can go for any

01:02coach out there like your job is to coach the players that you have on the

01:06team and imagine going to like general manager meetings or the owner I'm like

01:09hey are we gonna get my best player on the field so we can actually have a good

01:13season like our expectations are high we're expected maybe to win this

01:16division and make a deep playoff run which includes maybe a Super Bowl. Well

01:20it would have been really nice if I had my superstar wide receiver in training

01:23maybe the most important part of the season but you can still rest by getting

01:27him in line but also it comes down to the point is a lot of people like the

01:31pocket watch and mainly times Ben we do this what in the NBA like how did that

01:35guy make that much money that's ridiculous let me tell you something

01:38right now if Jamar Chase today signed the richest wide receiver con contract

01:43in the history of the NFL would anybody bat an eye and say I can't believe that

01:48happened that's such a terrible move he is a sensational wide receiver with a

01:52great quarterback that will do big things together as long as they're happy

01:56healthy and on the field together and I can't understand what we're waiting on

02:00now having said that to Ben I do think there's optimism because if this was a

02:04case of these two sides aren't talking Ben Jamar Chase wouldn't be showing up

02:08to practice and put on a good face he would be out of there quickly and

02:12absolutely going nuts on Twitter on X and on Facebook wherever saying that

02:16he's getting done wrong and he just wants to be traded from the Bengals so I

02:19do have optimism but also what actually gives me optimism this is the worst run

02:23football team in the NFL from the players perspective just go back to

02:27where they're grading out ownership groups and what they think of them bad

02:30food don't serve food don't care about our kids here terrible practice facility

02:34and a cheap owner it's been widely known at this point but there does come a

02:38point where you say as a fan base this shouldn't be happening in today's NFL

02:41because it's not as if like oh there's no precedent for this when every single

02:46player gets paid but your top guy because you're trying to pinch pennies

02:51and tell him to hold off you can't do that and I'm telling you now if Jamar

02:55Chase does get signed to a big contract Ben I'm back in on the Bengals it's that

02:59simple but if we're gonna play this charade in this game where I told you

03:03we only negotiate in the offseason when you let the entire offseason go and you

03:08can even lay it out from Mike Brown's perspective Ben and say well look these

03:11top nine wide receivers didn't get paid this year and you're not gonna get paid

03:15either okay then maybe has to sit it up when every single player is signed

03:20sealed and delivered with monster money except your top guy and oh by the way T

03:25Higgins had the settle for the franchise tag this organization is run so poorly I
