00:00with some breaking news bright and early on this Tuesday morning

00:09following Labor Day weekend last week. The 49ers pay Brandon

00:13IU. He's happy. He is paid. It does appear at this moment that

00:19Trent Williams is getting his money as well. The best tackle

00:22in football will be compensated as so finalizing a rework deal

00:27with 11-time Pro Bowler Trent Williams. What exactly the

00:31contract figures look like that remains to be seen but reported

00:35by ESPN's Adam Schefter in the last 15 minutes. Trent Williams

00:39and the Niners are finalizing a contract that will have Williams

00:43back for practice and maybe even starting on the left side

00:46Monday night to end out week one against the New York Jets at

00:50home. Great football players can do this and great organizations

00:55that care about their fans and their players do the same things.

00:58Hey, look, we don't know if we want to pay this amount of money,

01:01but when the season starts to approach we knew Ben there was

01:04no way like if Brandon and I got traded right that would have

01:06been a mishap there for the 49ers, but you could have said

01:08okay can't afford him big paycheck next year. We got a first

01:11round pick back in a second round pick and we'll move forward

01:14that which I wouldn't have liked but I can understand that

01:16there was no way that Trent Williams is going to sit out

01:19three four or five games or this season and not be a part of a

01:22Super Bowl run. Maybe the best left tackle in football. You

01:25want him paid you want him happy to protect the backside of

01:28your quarterback was anybody out there the minute Trent Williams

01:31said Ben I'm not showing up to training camp here. I want a

01:33new contract that anybody that's it. He's never going to play

01:37again and they're not going to sign up. We knew this was going

01:39to take place and they got it done enough time for him to get

01:42back into the fold. Here's the only interesting thing in any

01:44walk of life. If you're not around your teammates and your

01:47players because this wasn't a hold in from Trent Williams.

01:50He wasn't there. Yes. He was probably working out on his own.

01:53But at the same time you're basically going to get thrust

01:55in right away to game week with an unbelievable Jets defense.

01:59Do we think he's going to be up to the task probably so but

02:02something to keep an eye out on but this whole story we knew

02:05this was going to get done because sane ownerships general

02:08managers and playoff and players understand when your team is

02:11looking to go on a Super Bowl run get everybody in camp get

02:15everybody happy. Let's start the season with no more of this.

02:18I wonder if a guy shows up. They're done. They're ready for

02:21the season for the 49ers now.
