00:09debut with an appearance on Argentine drama-comedy Los Protectores, or The Protectors, as it
00:14translates to in English. The show follows the journey of three football agents trying
00:18to dodge bankruptcy and rebuild their careers in what is, you can imagine, a pretty crazy
00:23industry. Messi's role in the show is, unsurprisingly, of playing himself and meeting with the three
00:27agents to discuss a fairly ludicrous business deal. They propose he plays one game for
00:32every team in Argentina, in alphabetical order. He's not exactly thrilled about this, calls
00:37them uneducated and asks why the hell they even brought him here. Before everything then
00:41gets smoothed over and they celebrate not actually doing anything together with a glass
00:45of whatever this is. It's not likely to add an Oscar to his trophy collection anytime
00:49soon, but hey, it's a start.
