What the Prophet ﷺ Said When His Wife Got Angry

00:00There is no other time in your life in which you do things that you regret than times of anger.

00:06Aisha radiAllahu ta'ala anha, when she would become angry,

00:10she said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would put his finger on her nose,

00:14like stroking her nose to calm her down.

00:16And the Prophet ﷺ would say to her,

00:19Ya Uwaish, which was a nickname, like little Aisha,

00:22calm down, calm down and listen to what it is that I'm about to teach you.

00:27Say this du'a.

00:28O Allah, the Lord of Muhammad ﷺ,

00:31ighfir li dhanbi, forgive my sins,

00:33wa adhib ghaytha qalbi, and remove the anger from my heart,

00:38wa a'idhni min mudillat al fitan,

00:41and protect me from the fitan that mislead me.
