PM Anwar urges Education Ministry to prioritise mastery of Science, Mathematics, and English

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on the Education Ministry (MOE) to prioritise the mastery of Science, Mathematics, and English to drive the country's development.   During a visit to SMK Tinggi Bukit Mertajam, also known as High School Bukit Mertajam (HSBM), on Friday (Aug 30), Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, emphasised that failing to excel in these areas would leave Malaysia at a disadvantage in the increasingly competitive global landscape, particularly in the realm of new technology.  Anwar, an alumnus of HSBM, also announced an allocation of RM225,000 for the construction of a surau and RM275,000 for other maintenance needs at the school. 02:44So I agree to pass this Rp. 220,000.
