Team USA rugby player Ilona Maher has been one of the breakout stars of the 2024 Paris Olympics thanks to her inspiring presence on the pitch and social media.

00:00How important is it for you to kind of talk about your body and how proud you are of it,

00:05especially for younger female fans that are listening to you?

00:07I think it's important for me because I've gotten to a place where I'm pretty accepting of my body and I appreciate it in a way,

00:13but I know a lot of girls are in that place and it works to see somebody who is.

00:17And for me, it's important to do a constant stream of it because you'll still see one video on BMI and feel really good about,

00:23like, wow, I feel good about myself, but then three videos down are something that makes them feel bad.

00:27So it's really important to me that it has to be a constant, putting videos out, sharing.

00:32Like, I've done videos on cellulite, BMI, being called a man.

00:35It's important for me that it's never just one and done.
