00:13Wilson their week one starting quarterback. He wins the job in the Steel City over Justin Fields.

00:19I'm not saying this either is the wrong decision, Ben, by any means. Like you basically did bring

00:23Russell Wilson in to be your starting quarterback, understandably, or you wouldn't have brought him

00:27in at all. You also brought in Justin Fields as a chance to get a look. He had a young quarterback

00:32that could actually be your franchise guy. But I love when these releases come out because

00:36I ripped Gerard Mayo for the way he's handling the quarterback situation, not for the starter

00:40himself, but the way he brought the starter up and said, I'm going to wait 24, 48 hours,

00:45whatever it might be. But now I look at Mike Tomlin. I don't have anything against Mike Tomlin.

00:48He told you day number one, Justin Fields never had a chance to start. Didn't matter

00:53what Justin Fields did or any situation. And Russ missed a good chunk of training camp and

00:57yet was still going into scrimmages where he would be the starter, hobble out, hand the football off,

01:03and come back out as the starter. So Justin Fields could go back in. This isn't surprised

01:07by any means. And again, we're not saying this is the wrong decision, but Mike Tomlin told you

01:11day number one, Justin Fields will not be our starter in the first game of the season.
