00:00This is Russell Wilson's first preseason action happening tomorrow. It is. Okay. Yeah. And

00:10he's a starter. Mike Tomlin has said he is the starter, but they will both get four series.

00:15Russell will get four. Justin will get four and we'll make out of it what we make out

00:19of it. Cause I think this is the best opportunity. And Mike Tomlin said, what happens in game

00:23is a little bit more important than what happens in practice. And so I'm excited to see what

00:28Russell Wilson has. I think Justin feels is a better quarterback at this point in

00:31both their careers. But I, again, I don't know where Mike Tomlin's trying to go with

00:37this season. So from all reports, they want to run the ball. Their offensive line is set

00:41up to run the ball. And I think they want to be more cautious with the offense and having

00:46Russell Wilson out there. It's probably better to start the season until they get in trouble

00:51and anything to make something out of it. And then you may see Justin fields, but if

00:55he doesn't beat him out, I'm not worried about it. All right, let's keep going here.

00:59Our petition though. I don't really don't. I think when you're talking about quarterback

01:03competitions, you're talking about what you saw last night. I think we were talking about

01:06in Denver and, Oh, and Las Vegas. Like those are like the real quarterback competitions.

01:11I just think that no matter what Justin fields does in the preseason, it's Russell Wilson's job.

01:21No, because you cause chances are if, if Russell Wilson doesn't perform and if Justin fields does

01:27take over the starting job at some point during the year, my guess would be the Steelers will

01:32cut Russell Wilson as soon as they can. And the reason for that is he's barely making any money

01:37from the Steelers. He's making all of his money from the Broncos. He was a low risk, but a

01:43potential high reward acquisition for the Steelers. And he's not in my opinion. And I was

01:51around Russell Wilson plenty when he was in Seattle, when I was doing Monday night football

01:54games, or I was doing NFL games for Westwood one. He is not the kind of personality that is going to

02:00be in my estimation, a supportive backup quarterback.
