00:00Brentford have signed defender Sepp Vandenberg from Liverpool in a deal worth up to £25 million.
00:06The 22-year-old Dutchman joins the B's on a five-year contract after turning down interest from a number of other clubs, including German champions Bayer Leverkusen.
00:14Liverpool might still be waiting for the club's first summer signing under new sporting director Richard Hughes, but he has certainly added to the coffers at Anfield.
00:21Squad players Fabio Carvalho, Sepp Vandenberg and Bobby Clark have been sold for a combined total of around £52.5 million and a possible £10 million in add-ons.
00:30There are also 17.5% sell-on clauses in each deal.
00:34Forward Carvalho and defender Vandenberg did well in pre-season, having been on loan last campaign and, after initial offers for both were rejected, have moved to Brentford.
00:42The Reds rejected a £15 million offer from Southampton for Carvalho before the 21-year-old was sold to the B's for an initial £22.5 million
00:49and a possible £5 million in add-ons.
00:52Vandenberg, 22, was the subject of a bid worth around £8.4 million from PSV Eindhoven earlier in the summer,
00:59and he has now completed a move to Brentford for £20 million and a possible £5 million in add-ons.
01:04Midfielder Clark, 19, has made the switch to RB Salzburg in a deal worth up to £10 million.
01:10In each of those deals, Hughes is believed to have delivered Liverpool's valuations of the players involved.
01:15We will now wait and see if any of that money is spent on incomings this summer, with the transfer window closing at 11pm BST on Friday 30th August.
