00:18more, Walz's image as everyone's is a Midwestern dad and resonating with voters.
00:23While this image definitely has a lot to do with Walz himself, the way he speaks and even
00:26presents himself, it also has a lot to do with his daughter, Hope.
00:29Hope Walz is Tim Walz's 23-year-old daughter, who he and his wife welcomed after years of
00:33struggling with fertility treatments.
00:35After sharing this story at an Arizona rally, Walz received resounding applause, and the
00:39crowd even started chanting Hope's name as Walz started reacting by stating,
00:43I'm not crying, you're crying.
00:45Hope has also appeared alongside her father in numerous videos shared on social media,
00:49allowing the public to see Walz not just as a politician, but as a goofy father.
