Sheep show gives shearing rundown at Holsworthy Show 2024

00:38this sheep on a four-wheel drive to do that i place my hand under her chin turn her head

00:45push down on her bum and over she comes pop her back into position

00:52pop that leg through there and then we go hello my darling my name's trevor i'm your

00:58hairdresser for the day now i'd just like to point one thing out ladies and gents

01:04this sheep is four months old this will be the first haircut that she has ever had

01:12mums and dads do you remember your kids first haircut

01:16oh they didn't always want to sit still did they and if i let one of these tootsies touch a floor

01:21it's going to be the fastest cat dancing show you've ever seen now i said to you we have to

01:27stretch that skin out and that's because sometimes what she'll do is she'll tuck that foot in there

01:33like that she won't let me have it i've got a little button i can press and if i press this

01:37button under here she'll go hiya hiya hello kids and it just helps me to stretch that skin out

01:47and keep it nice and tight okay so what we're going to do first of all is we're going to try

01:53and take the belly wool off of this sheep so position here between my legs pop that leg back

01:59through there turn the clippers on here we go so a little bit of wool off of there first

02:06then we come down here now bear in mind that this lamb is only four months old

02:15this is the first haircut that she has ever had so she's been lying on this belly wool

02:23for the last four months of her life they're going to be covered in things like poop
