Across Africa, traditional music and dance is taking a back seat to Western music. But in Ghana, one performing arts school is working to reverse the trend.

00:00These are our traditional dances that define us.
00:24When you look at Africa, let's say in Ghana alone, we have Dagomba, we have Ashanti, we
00:42have Ewe, we have Akan, we have Ghana.
00:45There are music timing signatures, it's different, but now we're all running on one timing signature.
