00:00The Ministry of Agriculture and Commodity will monitor the export of palm oil so that Malaysia continues to be an exporter and avoids it from experiencing a crash, such as rubber and coconut commodities.
00:16Minister Johari Abdul Ghani said his party has devised a variety of strategies to ensure the stability of the export of palm oil, which is now worth more than RM100 billion, for the long term as well as using local small farms.
00:33According to him, approach was taken, including to fight for palm oil products that can be exported to any country without any restrictions.
00:42He, who also became President of UMNO, said that the KPK continues to emphasize the quality aspect by prioritizing the cultivation of fertile seeds and the practice of good farming.
00:54Johari said the government does not want the fate of palm oil to be like rubber, where Malaysia used to be the main exporter. However, because the export is not monitored, the status has changed to the largest importer.
