00:00The latest investigation into the OneBasedTarinet tender of the Ministry of Education worth RM4 billion

00:08has led to several allegations of corruption, embezzlement and abuse of power, said the Malaysian Corruption Prevention Agency.

00:17The anti-corruption agency explained that the investigation into YTL Communication Sendian Berhad

00:23was also based on information from the Ministry of Justice, Procurement, Procurement and Government Finance

00:30that was recently received last month, in addition to the Ministry of Finance.

00:36The SPRM said the report revealed several weaknesses,

00:40including the achievement of low broadband coverage, infrastructure technology weaknesses, school locations,

00:46in addition to the achievement of incomplete broadband.

00:50According to him, in addition to that, based on the information received,

00:53this OneBasedTarinet service tender was originally planned for a 15-year period of RM4.07 billion,

01:03but was shortened to 7 years and 6 months without any reduction in terms of contract value.

01:09Former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, who is linked to the SPRM investigation project,

01:15is confident that he is not involved in embezzlement allegations.

01:19Muhyiddin said the project was investigated previously, but no developments have been reported.
