00:03In a Monday news release, AAA said their booking data indicates that domestic travel will be up 9% relative to last year.
00:10International travel, on the other hand, will be down 4%.
00:13This may be because the cost of traveling domestically is down 2%,
00:17while the cost of international trips is up 11%.
00:21The most popular destination is Seattle, partly due to its role as a departure point for Alaska cruises.
00:27Meanwhile, many international travelers aren't going too far afield.
00:31The most popular destination outside the U.S. is Vancouver, Canada.
