Storms expected to cause travel delays this weekend

If you'll be traveling anywhere in the U.S. from Aug. 17-18, AccuWeather's Geoff Cornish has the forecast for you.

00:00We're looking pretty good right now, not seeing any major airports with big flight delays,

00:04which is the best we've been all week. Earlier there were some issues at Fort Lauderdale,

00:08minor delays, but no current airport delays being posted at this point.

00:12Tomorrow we have a lot of areas where there could be some minor delays.

00:15Storms in the afternoon in Seattle actually, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, some showers,

00:19scattered thunderstorms in Atlanta and in Miami. Heading into the south-central U.S.,

00:23some of the storms could be strong to severe near Little Rock. Scattered storms will also

00:27be a little noisy into New Orleans. Nashville is another big concern area.
