POLAR LIGHTS 1_350 SCALE USS ENTERPRISE MODEL KIT BUILD

This 1/350 Polar Lights USS ENTERPRISE refit build as seen in Star Trek -- The Motion Picture (1979) was built using airbrushed irridescent taxidermy lacquer paints for the aztec paneled look. For this build, I used the TenaControls 1701 refit lighting board with phaser and photon torpedo effects. I added a recordable sound chip that stores mp3 music clips from the film, Star Trek -- The Motion Picture.

I used fiber optics and LED tape to light the interior of the base. This video was shot before I had William Shatner sign a small plastic plate that I mounted onto the base.
