Scott Parker provides injury update ahead of Cardiff City fixture

Burnley boss Scott Parker has spoken about Sander Berge and Luca Koleosho's fitness ahead of the weekend's game with Cardiff City at Turf Moor.

00:00I think he'll be back on the grass either tomorrow or Friday. The weekend comes a little

00:04bit too early for him obviously. So yeah, like I said, on Monday night he's been struggling

00:11with a little bit of a quad injury. But yeah, we feel like we've got to the right point of

00:15where we need to be with that and hopefully he'll be on the grass in the next couple of days.

00:20Lucas finally trained today. Yeah, we've had to manage him a little bit in pre-season

00:28and probably just the intensity of the game and certainly the intensity of what Lucas plays at.

00:34He plays at a real high volume and intensity. He was probably a little bit tired and struggling

00:39with a little bit of cramp. So he trained today. Yeah, I'm hoping he'll be fine for the weekend.

00:44In terms of the squad itself, do you expect much change of personnel or

00:47availability from Monday night? Not really, no.

00:51I know Yohei probably trained today. We'll see where he is tomorrow in terms of making a call

00:59on that. Everyone else pretty much, it'll be a clear squad for us.
