00:11increased by 0.6 percent between April and June. This was in line with the Economist's
00:18forecast and is a welcome boost for the new Chancellor, Rachel Reeves. The ONS said there
00:24was no economic growth recorded in June as weakness in services was offset by improvements
00:30in the manufacturing sector. There's an update this morning which shows that gross domestic
