Fans React to the 2024 Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony

The 2024 Paris Summer Olympics ended its 19-day competition on Aug. 11 with a blowout at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, which boasted about 71,500 spectators.

00:00It was so well put together and it encompassed the spirit of the games, the athletes, and

00:20it was just my daughter and myself, we were in tears several times as we watched this

00:26show and the climax with Tom Cruise was fantastic and the handoff to L.A. which we are looking

00:34forward to being there.

00:37Beautiful, heartwarming, it was so much so we're thinking of moving to France.

00:46Well I thought for sure when those other acrobats came out of the sky that we all had it wrong,

00:51that Tom Cruise wasn't going to be here, I was like oh this is why they thought that,

00:55but he really did come down from the ceiling, he does his own stunts, I was amazed.

00:59The ceremony was superb, much more simple and traditional than the opening ceremony,

01:05but it also represents France and I think it was a great break for L.A., it was great

01:11L.A., the 12 minutes, I think it's going to make L.A.'s Olympic Games a lot of fun.
