00:05The capital of East Kalimantan will have a special status.
00:10With this special status, the Indonesian Government will be entitled to transfer the budget to the region from the Ministry of Finance.
00:21The Director General of the Ministry of Finance announced that the capital of East Kalimantan
00:29will be a special region.
00:31This is confirmed by the Director of the Special Autonomous Incentive Fund and Special Directoral Specialty of the Ministry of Finance, Jaka Suceta.
00:40In a seminar held by the Ministry of Finance in 2024,
00:44Jaka Suceta said that the government is currently in the process of designing a special transfer for a new region,
00:50including for the IKAIN or OIKAIN authorities,
00:53where Jaka stated that with a special region status,
00:56IKAIN is entitled to receive a transfer budget allocation to the region from the Ministry of Finance.
01:02The village funds are being distributed as an instrument to transfer to the last region,
01:09not the last, who knows there will be more,
01:11because right now we are designing to transfer to the IKAIN.
01:17Although the plan has been discussed,
01:19Jaka Suceta has not yet been able to deepen the concept of allocating regional funds transfers to the IKAIN authorities.
01:24Because this is still in the planning stage and is waiting for the establishment of the IKAIN regulation as a special regional government or PMDASUS.
01:32Meanwhile, based on Law No. 1 of 2022 on the financial relationship between the central government and the regional government,
01:39regional transfer budget is one of the ways to transfer budget from the central government to the region.
