00:00What was it like working with Cate Blanchett and Jamie Lee Curtis on this movie?
00:03Oh, fantastic. I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, these ladies have so much of the
00:08best sense of humor that you can ever imagine. I mean, it's it's incredible. They were so
00:13welcoming and warm, both of them. And and and Jamie was basically the she was the glue
00:20that kept us together throughout the shoot. You know, she's so welcoming and warm and she
00:25she makes everyone feel so comfortable and welcome, you know, and that and that allowed
00:31us to become very close, very close. And we were all in each other's lives. We all became
00:37friends. You know, this is a gigantic movie. It is something that that normally doesn't
00:41happen in a movie this size because people are busy, because, you know, it's hundreds
00:45and hundreds of people on set. But it felt very intimate. We were all really playing.
00:49We're all we're all turning to kids and we played. And that's and that's an actor's dream,
00:54because, you know, in a way, we're all we all have Peter Pan syndrome. You know, we all want
00:57to be kids forever. I mean, can you imagine that you make you make a living out of believing that
01:02you're someone else? You know, it's somewhere between madness and the most fun thing that
01:06you can ever imagine. What was your experience with playing the game before taking on the role?
01:11Well, that was different because I'm not a gamer. So that was tough for me. But now I'm really
01:17paying attention. I'm really paying attention because some of the most provocative content
01:21in entertainment is happening in the world of video gaming. So I think that a movie like
01:25Borderlands is a perfect interface between that world and the rest of us, you know, the rest of
01:29the world. But now no, not now I belong to this world because I'm right in the I'm now not now
01:34this movie has introduced me to the world of video gaming in the best ways possible.
01:37Such a colorful film to see on the big screen. What was it like stepping on set and being in
01:41this crazy, colorful world of Pandora? It was it was it was really something because
01:46the sets were incredible and the and the extras, the wardrobe, it was really. And also I had the
01:53chance to work with everyone in the film. So that was also actually my first scene. It's almost like
01:59a space opera. Like I walk like my first scene, you know, like the first one that I shot and
02:04suddenly I walked into this gigantic set with hundreds of extras, hundreds of crew and the
02:09entire cast there. And I'm like people who knew each other already because I was the last one to
02:13join the to join that because your first sketch for schedule conflict. I my my my scenes were
02:20shot at the very end of the of the shoot. So it was it was really cool.
