00:00It's Micah Parsons. You know, I don't know you. You have obviously been a big fan of
00:20Parsons and what he can do as an edge rusher and the way that he can disrupt the game.
00:25Did you feel like while you were out there, you saw peak Micah at any point? I don't feel
00:30like we did. I would say no. Like even during the drills and stuff, it was like, I don't
00:33see him dominating. I don't see him running, you know, crazy. We got a lot of different
00:38tweets sent our way about people going, well, what's the, uh, what's the deal here with
00:43Micah? Is it, did all the sumo wrestling, did all the boxing not help? Well, apparently
00:47yesterday was the big breakout day. He was dominant out there at practice. John owning
00:53a from PFF, who we had talked about yesterday, some of the work that he does.
00:58And he was out there at practice again. And he said, one of his big takeaways yesterday
01:02was that Micah Parsons just was on top of it. Absolutely dominant rec and shop. The
01:08entire game said, if he would, if you looked at that practice yesterday and they were playing
01:13actual reps, you're looking at multiple sacks in that practice. And so Micah Parsons dominant
01:20practice was a big part of that one should be noted. No Tyler Guyton who seemed to really
01:27stymie him and really give him problems while we were out there.
01:30And so that's the, uh, that's the one thing that you get a little bit different. Now,
01:34the other aspect here, the second thing that he took away from practice, Jalen Tolbert,
01:37who I'm starting to, I'm ready to get hurt again. You ready to get hurt or heard? I'm
01:44ready to get hurt again. Oh, okay. Yeah. I mean, I think that's good. I think, you know,
01:48every time that you, uh, you, you look inside yourself deep inside yourself and you say,
01:52you know what? Yeah, I am ready to get hurt again. I'm ready to believe. And I'm, I'm
01:57prepared to be hurt by this. That's what happens. You know, you break up, you get, you break
02:01up or you get broken up with, and then you go through this period of self-reflection
02:06and alcoholism. And then, and then you say to yourself, you know what? I'm ready to get
02:13hurt again. The alcoholism, but necessary part of it. I think alcoholism is a necessary
02:18part of life. Um, I think you just have to kind of go down that road at some point, at
02:22some point you need to kind of take that step and, uh, you know, and you're ready to get
02:26hurt again. And then you say, okay, you know what? Let's go back. Let's get back on hinge
02:30or, or Tinder grinder, Bobby. And, uh, and then gesturing too, maybe that's, maybe that's
02:40another one you want to get on and you say, I'm ready to get hurt again. Exactly. So Jalen
02:46Tolbert is my grinder is basically what you're saying. Uh, Jalen Tolbert is somebody who
02:51his rookie year, I was furious. They didn't take him in the second round. I wanted them
02:56to take him in the second round of the draft. They took Sam Williams. They get lucky. I
03:01felt like at the time they got him in the third round. Great. That's awesome. He shows
03:05up as a rookie year. He completely disappointed. All right. Reload for last year. A lot of
03:12talk about, Hey, his confidence is up through the roof. Had some good practices still didn't
03:17move the needle much at all. Um, and so I, I back-to-back years, I've fallen for hype.
03:24I've been hurt by it. And I said, never again, it'll never happen again. And here I am chop.
03:31The hype has got me. He looks like a different player out there. He looked good while we
03:34were out there in Oxnard and John owning talking about, it was another day of really good production
03:40from Jalen's Holbrook out there practice. And it's something that when you consider
03:46the CD lambs not out there, it's really easy to kind of target him a little bit more if
03:51you're the defense and he's still producing. And so it's at least a, it gives you a little
03:56bit more hope. Uh, the third aspect, the third thing that John owning had out there from
04:00practice yesterday says, don't forget about Carl Davis.
