00:00And then I was really scared of when I had to go.
00:02Can I say that to Cosmo?
00:04Hi, I'm Ashley Park,
00:05and today I'm doing the breakdown with Cosmopolitan.
00:08We're watching my old clips,
00:10and I'm letting you know what really went down that day.
00:13Do I like watching my own work?
00:15Probably not, not really, not necessarily, but I'll do it.
00:18I used to be super critical of my own work,
00:20but there's kind of a freedom of,
00:22hey, it's done, that's what I did.
00:24So now I'm less critical, but I'm actually,
00:26no, I'm still pretty critical.
00:30What's your favorite part of the scene?
00:33Well, hilariously, I'm wearing Louis Vuitton now.
00:36There it goes.
00:37That garment bag was actually made specifically
00:39for the scene,
00:40and it was like two inches too short accidentally.
00:42Every time they were like, zip it up fast,

00:45And I loved being in beef,
00:47and I remember reading the scene
00:48and not really understanding what it was gonna look like.
00:50And I think it's really perfect for this character, Naomi,
00:53and like how she feels.
00:55And it was my first time playing a role
00:56that wasn't necessarily a likable character
00:59and trying to find the humanity behind her.
01:01And yeah, oh, this is funny.
01:02Ali Wong, love her.
01:04In the final episode of Beef, Naomi has quite a journey.
01:07Jake and Sunny did such an amazing job
01:09editing that episode together.
01:10And I auditioned for that show
01:12with just the very first scene that I have with Ali Wong,
01:15where we're just like talking with coffee and stuff.
01:17So when we got to that, it was wild.
01:19There are guns and there's people dying
01:21and there's people sliced in half.
01:22And I had no idea I was gonna be a part of it.
01:24Naomi's not okay.
01:26To be with one half of your ex-lover
