00:00Today, the National Crime Agency can reveal that a platform used by hundreds of criminals
00:16to defraud victims across the world has been shut down.
00:20The platform, known as Russian Comms, allowed criminals to hide their identity when they
00:25contacted victims, and appear to be calling from financial institutions, telecommunications
00:31companies, and law enforcement agencies.
00:33You are under arrest for suspicion of making and supplying articles of use abroad, and
00:40making false representations, and money laundering.
00:44NCAA officers, alongside our police colleagues, have arrested users and conducted searches
00:49in a number of locations across the country.
00:52Unbeknownst to them, the services also store the users' data, so we can identify who they
00:57are, and what they're doing.

01:05these services cannot be trusted.
