00:00J.D. Vance's first two weeks as the vice presidential nominee do seem like a
00:04series of unforced errors here with those comments resurging. He hasn't had
00:09the most favorable social media embrace but aside from that and women where else
00:15is the Trump campaign the weakest? Well I mean obviously the black vote I think
00:22is coming back around Kamala Harris but Trump campaign has a lot of strengths
00:26they are winning they're doing well with independence they're doing they're
00:30doing well with the Latino vote I think here that that that neither side has
00:36adequately addressed and and has really hurt particularly the working-class
00:40Latino vote is hurt dramatically by the impact of inflation and the and the
00:46economy most Latinos see their economic fortune as as moving backwards and and
00:53so I think that you see Kamala Harris doing somewhat somewhat better with
00:58young people with black voters the Trump campaign obviously doing well with rural
01:04areas but also doing well with suburban also having a real issue advantage in
01:09terms of inflation and immigration and crime all being top issues so so and
01:16remember ultimately only 42% think that Biden did a good job as president so the
01:22fact that she's out there campaigning today behind with Biden proposals on the
01:26Supreme Court you know those are real problems in in terms of how does she win
01:32as a continuation of the Biden administration when most people reject
01:37continuing the Biden administration. She's coming in with about a hundred
01:42days left so there's very little runway for her she's also coming in behind
01:46President Trump in the polls what else does Vice President Kamala Harris see as
01:52weaknesses in her campaign? Well I think her greatest weakness is her greatest
01:59strength which is if she can avoid the issues and project an image of
02:04confidence and enthusiasm and run the table out maybe maybe she'll debate
02:10maybe maybe not maybe just just one debate if she can do that she can kind
02:15of maybe glide in here most people think when we looked at some of the personal
02:20attributes that she's got a great temperament compared to Donald Trump and
02:23if she can make Trump seem that you know that that that his temperament isn't
02:30right for the presidency and hers in the country and hers is right I think
02:35obviously she's got some issues in terms of the weaknesses does she favor open
02:40borders you know you know is does she favor moving to EVs and getting rid of
02:46gas cars we did a number of questions does she favor getting rid of private
02:50health insurance I mean really two-thirds to two three-quarters of the
02:56voters oppose all those policies that she's on record as favoring in the past
03:01so if she's really pinned down on those policies is she has she changed her views
03:06or or not those are going to be I think important issues here to her to resolve
03:12one way or the other or to avoid
