Police officers rescue horse from Oklahoma swimming pool

Police officers came to the rescue after a horse fell into a swimming pool.

The team from the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) used a rope fashioned into a bridle to pull the animal out of the water.

Officers arrived at a home in Springlake, Oklahoma City, on July 29 to find the horse stood in the corner of the pool with its head peeking out of the water.

Bodydcam footage fours officers and two residents joining forces to pull the horse up the pool's stairs by a rope.

A seventh person was seen slapping the water behind the pony to encourage it to move forwards.
