00:00I
00:15Was just I was just talking with Zeke and one of the things that he said that I thought was a really good
00:20Philosophy is one of the things about training camp is you're out here
00:24You're spending more time with the guys both on and off the field
00:27It builds the camaraderie which makes you want to play more for one another is that I know training camps important for other reasons
00:34But is that one of the big things that helps 100% locker room is crucial, especially during training camp
00:39You know, everybody's working everybody's a little bit tired, you know, if he get a little bit sore
00:43So although all the little joking around, you know getting to know somebody, you know, even on a serious level, you know
00:49You know getting to know someone personally, you know, you may relate to things in your past
00:53That all comes into play and you know, you you wouldn't realize when it when it really comes into play on the field
00:58But it matters fourth quarter when you're talking about some of these serious conversations
01:02I've always been curious. It probably changes year to year team to team but like give or take how many like really close
01:09Relationships. Do you feel like you have on the team? I really y'all are all close inherently
01:13But like how many guys you're like, oh, dude. Oh right now. Yeah. Oh, yeah
01:17I would say there's a full for sure a handful, you know
01:20Some guys you just get along with real well, like you like you've known him for a while
01:24Yeah, obviously I built relationships on other teams in that as well
01:29College high school, you know with the Vikings with the Chargers, you know, but even even last year, you know
01:36I had relationships that grew throughout the season
01:38So I'm looking forward to that as well
01:40You know, I'm still kind of new here and I know a couple people but at the same time
01:44I'm building those stepping stones too. Now you are new here and my co-host Corey demanded that we have you on the show
01:51Because he has big expectations for you. So I'm sure you put your own pressure on yourself, but yeah, it's Wow
01:56Cuz I actually have big expectations. Okay
02:00Makes it I'd be really concerned if you're like I can feel it wind it down. This is gonna be a midseason
02:06I'd be like, oh
02:08No, man
02:08Well, I mean obviously the relationship with Zimmer is something that that jumps out immediately because you've known him for a long time
02:15You know his defense the familiarity
02:17Must have been something that intrigued you about coming to Dallas because you knew he was here and you could do with this
02:22Absolutely, definitely, you know, I kind of was in a different defense for two years in a row, you know
02:26You know learning the ropes. I was kind of like the new person learning it and you know, it was cool
02:30I ended up learning it but you know, I feel like my comfortability in this defense playing Mike in this defense, you know
02:35The variations of changes, you know the adjustments we make at halftime
02:38My preparation week to week, you know is what I want to get it back into
