00:09she was so instrumental? Well, there was frosty. I mean,

00:11there were moments when their relationship between the King and the Prince of Wales,

00:15I walked out, William was frosty. There are moments like that. Of course,

00:19there have been problems like that in the past. But I think actually she's great at being the hub,

00:28the conduit to good relations, making sure that he gets the King, who's incredibly busy,

00:35gets to see his grandchildren as regularly as possible, which was an issue at one stage.

00:43I think that, yeah, I think that she's been brilliant. I think the King absolutely adores

00:49her. You can see his eyes light up when he sees her. I think when they were in hospital,

00:53he spent a little bit of time talking to her when they were in the same

00:57hospital. I think he really does adore her, actually, as the daughter he never had.

01:02How does Kate influence the decisions that William makes on a regular basis?

01:06Because I know they talk a lot. You can see it even before a speech. I remember being on that

01:12trip to Belize and he was about to deliver a speech. I was on the road to watching it.

01:18He was looking for, not necessarily reassurance, but he was just turning to her. It's a very

01:26important relationship. I think one that's been, you know, they can do their things on their own

01:31and when they do it, they do it very well. But they clearly are very much, would have talked

01:35over lots of things and lots of how to do what the job is entailed and what speech, which he

01:42would have clearly discussed various speeches as he did with her when she was making them. So

01:48I think that they're very much very close friends and advisors and partners as well as

01:54lovers and husbands and wives.
