रविवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 'मन की बात' कार्यक्रम के दौरान कहा कि हर परिवार कि यह चिंता होती है कि कहीं उनका बच्चा ड्रग्स की चपेट में न आ जाए। अब ऐसे लोगों की मदद के लिए सरकार ने एक विशेष केंद्र खोला है जिसका नाम है 'मानस'। ड्रग्स के खिलाफ लड़ाई में यह बहुत बड़ा कदम है। पीएम ने कहा, कुछ दिन पहले ही मानस की हेल्पलाइन और पोर्टल को लांच किया गया है। सरकार ने एक टोल फ्री नंबर 1933 जारी किया है। इस पर कॉल करके कोई भी व्यक्ति जरूरी सलाह ले सकता है। अगर किसी के पास ड्रग्स से जुड़ी कोई दूसरी जानकारी है तो वे इसी नंबर पर कॉल करके नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो के साथ यह सूचना साझा भी कर सकते हैं। यहां हर जानकारी गोपनीय रखी जाती है। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि भारत को ड्रग्स फ्री बनाने में जुटे सभी लोगों से, सभी परिवारों से, सभी संस्थाओं से मेरा आग्रह है कि मानस हेल्पलाइन का भरपूर उपयोग करें।
