00:29share this video and this channel with everybody you know. Like I said we're
00:33going to be making Char-Sui Chicken. Let's drop down here and see what our
00:36ingredients are. We have got two cloves of garlic that
00:40we've minced up, quarter teaspoon of allspice, quarter
00:42teaspoon of cinnamon, two tablespoons of honey, two
00:45tablespoons of hoisin sauce, two tablespoons
00:48of soy sauce, one tablespoon of ketchup, two teaspoons of sesame oil and we got
00:53four boneless skinless chicken thighs. Let's start making our
00:57marinade. Alright, we've got our hoisin sauce. We're just going to put that in
01:02first.
01:05Ketchup,
01:10sesame oil,
01:13our honey,
01:18cinnamon, allspice, soy sauce,
01:27and our freshly minced garlic there. We're just going to mix this all up
01:32really well. Get everything combined.
01:38Then I'm just going to take a gloved hand here
01:42and we're going to put our chicken up here. We're going to pour
01:46the marinade on the chicken. We're going to make sure that chicken is
01:52fully covered.
01:55Wrap this in saran wrap. Refrigerate it for up to 24 hours.
02:01Alright, then we're going to put it, once it's marinated,
02:05we're going to put it on a hot grill.
02:12Outside on a char grill would be good. Give it a little char.
02:17This works well too.
02:21We're just going to let that cook.
02:27Okay, so I've flipped it and I've added some more of the marinade. The rest of
02:31what we had is on there now just to help it
02:36glaze up and char a little bit on this grill.
02:42I'm going to let this continue to cook until it gets to 165
02:46internally. Then we're going to plate this up. I got
02:49something special for you. We're going to take some pictures of it,
02:52throw some music in there. You guys enjoy that. Then we're going to
02:55come back and we're going to give it a taste.
02:57Don't go anywhere.
03:19Alright, there we go. Our photo is done. The music. Everything looks good.
03:35Tastes good, let's hope. I just took some soba noodles and added a little bit of
03:39the, not the marinade we used, but I did
03:42another marinade off to the side. I just cooked
03:46these noodles in that sauce.
03:51Pretty good.
03:54There's our char sweet chicken.
04:01All cooked and grilled nicely. A little char on it. There it is right there.
04:07Let's go in for the bite.
04:16Got that hoisin sauce and that honey. A little bit of sweetness in there.
04:21Soy sauce gives it some savoriness and umami.
04:26A little bit of garlic coming through there.
04:33Ketchup gives it just a bit of some saltiness.
04:38Ketchup gives it just a bit of some saltiness.
04:44Allspice adds a little bit of
04:51elegance to it.
04:56It's really good. The longer you marinate it, the better flavor you're going to get.
05:01So this is char, char, char sweet chicken. Usually char sweet pork, but we made
05:08char sweet chicken. It's really good. Recipe is in the
05:12description box in the first comment down below.
05:14Don't forget to look for that. You will enjoy this very much.
05:18Take care of yourselves. We'll see you next time. Bye bye.
