Most MOTU fans do not feel this way. It is sad however that a few sexists speak for the fandom. Women with a muscular character design is a positive development. I hope it continues

00:00I'm proud to come from a long and distinguished line of strong female characters.
00:05Vulnerable and virtuous, they brought their own unique femininity to the table while getting the job done.
00:10And sometimes they overcame adversity with the help of the opposite sex, aka guys.
00:15So it's really no surprise that people react badly when you strip a beloved character of her flaws and femininity,
00:21give her a chip on her shoulder about men, and the body of a retired Dallas Cowboy linebacker.
00:26I wasn't just made up. I was modeled after an actual woman with a realistic body.
00:31No tune-up needed on those chevrolets.
00:34So why would I want to look like 60% man when I could be 100% woman?
00:39No way. There's a strange phenomenon of dismissing male characters as aggressive and violent,
00:44but then giving female characters those same qualities and calling it heroic.
00:48That just doesn't make sense.
00:50And by the by, being written to have no discernible flaws or fears is incredibly boring.
00:55Just ask this lady.
00:57You don't have to look like an MMA fighter with a whey protein addiction to be a strong woman.
01:01So remember, women are at their best when they're, well, women.
