00:07quarterback he had taken a lot of the reps and most of the reps with the ones

00:10and and Sam had a great spring JJ came in here after being drafted and had a

00:16really productive spring as well so really my message to those guys is I

00:21want a really competitive situation Sam will you know obviously be you know

00:26taking the majority of his reps with that first group but I think you'll see

00:30JJ maybe get some as well but also it's it's about the the quality and as much

00:35as the volume of those reps throughout camp to really kind of continue to

00:40holistically attack this quarterback development program process for JJ

00:45also knowing that doesn't mean the expectation is that Sam doesn't have a

00:49process either we've got individualized plans for all of our guys listen Sam

00:56Darnold sucks and eventually JJ McCarthy will be their quarterback I mean they're

01:02gonna put up with Darnold until he does his normal losing and once he starts

01:06losing that'll be the end of him
