00:08and he ranked how each group stacks up.

00:11For the commanders, notably,

00:13he had the offensive line 27th,

00:15he had the secondary 31st,

00:17and those are two of the groups on Danny and I's lists here

00:19as to what you're most worried about

00:21as it pertains to this roster.

00:22Danny's going O-line,

00:23I'm going with specifically cornerback.

00:25I actually think the safety room is solid

00:28and really raises the tide.

00:30I think ranking the secondary 31st is way unfair.

00:34I think they're better than that.

00:41Joe, what position group gives you the most nerves

00:45going into the season?

00:47Yeah, I think you guys hit it pretty good.

00:49With O-line was definitely my number one

00:50and then corner number two,

00:51but I think if I had to pick number three,

00:53which kind of goes with,

00:55it's gonna be edge rusher.

00:58I think it's, we really don't have anyone proven

01:01that's gonna go out there and get sacked.

01:02I mean, I know they went and got Doran Armstrong,

01:04but he's never been more than a rotational guy

01:06with Michael Parsons on the other side.

01:09He's not gonna have that here,

01:10and if they're gonna thrust him

01:11into that much of a bigger role,

01:13I just don't see where this production's gonna come from,

01:15and it's only gonna magnify how bad the corner room is,

01:18because if we're not getting pressure,

01:19those guys are gonna be covering way too long,

01:22and I just think we're gonna get diced up.

01:25I appreciate you making it.

01:26To me, there's two ways to do it, creating pressure.

01:28Way number one, the way that the New York Giants

01:31got two and won two Super Bowls,

01:32the way that Ron Rivera's Carolina Panthers team

01:34got to the Super Bowl, ultimately lost it,

01:36but is that you've got four really good,

01:39working together, cohesive pass rushers up front

01:41that can win one-on-one.

01:43That's the easiest thing to do, cover with seven.

01:45If you don't have that, which they don't,

01:47then you do what Washington has done.

01:49You don't just square peg and round hole that thing.

01:50You've got one play where Frankie Luvu is lined up,

01:53standing up over the right tackle.

01:55The next play, Dorrance Armstrong is standing up,

01:58or the next play, somebody totally different

02:00that we haven't even thought of.

02:01Jamin Davis is blitzing downhill.

02:02You mix and match.

02:04You make it so that nobody knows

02:05where the rusher's coming from,

02:06and you force the offense to adjust,

02:07and you dictate in that way.

02:09I think that's what they're gonna do.

02:10You're right that they don't have a star.

02:12They don't have a guy that can do 50.

02:14They don't have T.J. Watt.

02:15There aren't that many guys that do.

02:17There aren't many teams that have that easy button

02:19where a superstar pass rusher from one side

02:21is gonna A, produce, B, take up all the attention.

02:24I think they're gonna have to get creative,

02:25and that's kind of on Joe Witt and Dan Quinn and company.
