00:00The Department of Trade and Industry, or DTI, assisted over 500,000 micro, small and medium enterprises, or MSMEs,
00:08through the Angat Negosyo Initiative.
00:11Its programs are especially designed to support MSMEs in terms of digitalization efforts,
00:17enhancing their competitiveness and scalability, and making sure they remain vital contributors to the country's economy.
00:24DTI hopes that by providing MSMEs with access to advanced technology and skilled resources,
00:30they would be able to efficiently meet the demands of the constantly changing business environment.
00:36Moreover, the agency highlighted their key achievements and progress in advancing the country's economic goals.
00:42Among these are approving over 1,000 investment projects worth 2.73 trillion pesos
00:49through the Board of Investments and Philippine Economic Zone Authority,
00:53protecting consumer welfare, and launching the Center for Artificial Intelligence or AI Research
00:59to raise the nation's brand of innovation.
