Das Unihertz Jelly Max ist ein 5G-Smartphone mit einem vergleichsweise kleinen Display, das ansonsten aber alle Fähigkeiten größerer Handys mitbringen soll.      Der Bildschirm ist mit nur 5 Zoll merklich kleiner als bei den allermeisten aktuellen Smartphones anderer Hersteller. Dadurch passt das Handy in nahezu jede Tasche und lässt sich einfacher mit nur einer Hand bedienen.      Trotz des ungewöhnlichen Formfaktors sollen Leistung, Kamera und Akku in etwa auf dem Niveau anderer Handys liegen.
