00:00So over here, you can see that there are standard materials right here, which is already available
00:12in Adobe Dimension and same goes for the substance material right here.
00:16But if you want more materials, you can download them out as well.
00:20So you can click on Browse Adobe Stock and you get onto this space right here.
00:25So there are some paid premium materials, as you can see right here, but you can go
00:30around and filter out for free ones as well.
00:33So for that, over here, I'm going to go around and filter out for free materials right here.
00:38And I'm going to select asset type 3D right here, just like this.
00:42And I'm going to go for a subcategory of material, as you can see right here.
00:46You can go around, choose color around over here as well, or you can simply go around
00:50and utilize whatever is here.
00:52So you can see that these are some free Adobe materials that you can utilize, as you can
00:57see right here.
00:58So let's say I want to utilize this.
01:00So I'm going to go around and license this out right here, just like this.
01:04And if I were to go around over here, it's saving it out and around over here, I'm just
01:10going to go around onto my desktop right here, just like this.
01:14And then I'm going to go around and save it out right here.
01:17So you can see that it is saving that particular material right here onto my desktop right
01:23here.
01:24So it's downloading, as you can see right here.
01:26So now what I can do is I can go ahead and let's say, for example, import out the material.
01:31So I'm going to go around over here onto my models right here, and let me just go around
01:36and bring the cylindrical model, let's say, for example, and then I'm going to go around
01:41onto file right here, and then I need to go to import, and I'm going to click on place
01:46material on selection right here.
01:49So once you do that, you can see that I got two formats that are supported right here.
01:54So let's just go around over here onto desktop.
01:57But right now it's not there.
01:59I mean, the file is downloaded in JIP, so you cannot actually see it right here.
02:05So what you need to do is you need to go to desktop.
02:09So for that, I'm going to go around and drag this out right here.
02:13So you can see that it just completed downloading.
02:15There is the material right here.
02:18So let's just go around and extract this out onto my desktop itself right here.
02:23So once I go around and do that, you can see that MDL format is here.
02:27So let's just go around and close this.
02:29And now what I'm going to do is I'm going to go around back right here, and then I'm
02:33going to go to file and then import, and I'm going to click on place material on object
02:39right here.
02:40So once I do that, I'm going to go around and press open.
02:43So now it's loading, as you can see right here.
02:46So now you can see that this material is added in right here.
02:50So if I were to go around over here onto material right here, then it is not a part of what
02:55you see right here, but it's added in right here.
02:59And since this is a substance material right here, you have different options.
03:06Like you can go around and then change this around how you like.
03:10So let's just go around and select this material right here, and you can see that there's translucence
03:14right here.
03:15You can go around and change it, index of refraction.
03:18I can go around and make it glow, change it to metallic and so forth, as you can see right
03:23here.
03:24So there's the default material and this material right here, just like this.
03:27So if I were to go around over here and let me just go around and double click, you can
03:31see that this is the material that you have right here with all the textures you can change
03:36around index of refraction, change this around, change around the density right here.
03:41And with different materials, you get different parameters as well, and you can utilize all
03:46of them right here.
03:48And this is how you can go around and import out substance material inside of Adobe Dimension
03:53from external sources.
