00:25In a post on X, Zaid said it was unnecessary for Fahmi, as a minister, to call MCMC Chairman

00:32Salim Fateh Din out on a public platform, adding that it was tantamount to a public

00:38rebuke.

00:39Zaid said the Commission has its way of dealing with the issue vested in it and that Fahmi

00:45should respect their professionalism.

00:48During his speech at the Jiwa Merdeka event, Fahmi had urged the MCMC Chairman to do something

00:54about the rising number of social media issues such as scams, the spread of fake news and

01:00cyberbullying.

01:01Fahmi had hinted that very firm action will be taken against social media platforms within

01:07the next few days over the issues that have arisen.
