Donald Trump and his VP pick J.D. Vance officially launched their campaign with a rally on Saturday. This was Trump's first public event since the July 13 assassination attempt in PA and accepting the GOP nomination. Sporting a bandage on his ear, Trump dismissed "Project 2025" allegations as misinformation, saying, "I took a bullet for democracy."
