00:05China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said we respect the choice of the American people

00:10and congratulate Mr. Trump on being elected as President of the United States.

00:15Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he looked forward to an era of a strong United States

00:21under President Trump's decisive leadership.

00:24Zelensky also referred to a meeting with Trump in September

00:27where they discussed ways to end what he called Russian aggression against Ukraine.

00:33Russia's foreign ministry issued a statement saying the country would

00:36interact with the new administration while working to achieve the goals of the special

00:41military operation, an apparent reference to the conflict in Ukraine.

00:46It also said its conditions had not changed.

00:49Response also from Benjamin Netanyahu,

00:52the Israeli Prime Minister, describing Trump's win as history's greatest comeback.

00:57He said it offers a new beginning for America and a recommitment to the,

01:01quote, great alliance between Israel and the U.S.

01:05Meanwhile, the European Union has offered its congratulations.

01:08EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen saying the U.S. and EU are bound by a partnership

01:14uniting 800 million people and any agenda must deliver for those citizens.

01:20British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also reached out to Trump.

01:23His message, the U.K. and U.S. are the closest of allies

01:27and stand shoulder to shoulder in defense of their shared values of freedom and democracy.

01:32And finally, there were more congratulations from the leader of the world's most populous nation,

01:37Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing the election as historic.

01:41He also suggested Trump would build on the successes of his previous term.
