00:00I have the world's longest legs.
00:02Going to public spaces, a lot of people stare and they take pictures without asking.
00:09On today's shopping spree, I'm hoping to find some back-to-school clothes.
00:14I think they're cute.
00:16They fit you well everywhere else.
00:20So, the world record is Ekaterina Lysina from Russia.
00:27And she has 52 inches from the hip.
00:31So she's an inch longer than the current Guinness World Record holder.
00:37My height is 6'9", and my legs are 53 inches.
00:41We will be contacting the Guinness Book of World Records to have them come and measure her officially.
00:49Alright, so the outseam is measured from the top of the hip bone.
00:53And we go down to...
00:58Do you got that all the way on the top?
01:03Okay, 53.
01:06And then her inseam...
01:0943 on the nose.
01:11She has always had long legs. I used to think I had long legs, but not anymore.
01:16She's got most of her height, I think, in her legs versus her body.
01:20That's still very tall.
01:27I think I realized that she was taller than the average kid at about 18 months.
01:32Because she stood about a head above the rest of the kids.
01:38Some advantages of being tall...
01:41When, like, you're in a crowd, and you're with friends, and you can't find them,
01:46I can just look over everyone and be like, there she is.
01:51Disadvantages of being tall...
01:54Hitting your head.
01:56Getting into cars.
02:00Finding clothes.
02:02And yeah, that's about it.
02:05I'm 6'5".
02:07Both my parents are 5'6"-5'8".
02:11So there's a wild gene in my side of the family, I guess, somewhere.
02:16I got the height gene, and Macy got it as well.
02:20There's been, like, four or five years that she's grown, like, five inches in a year.
02:28We started way down here probably shortly after we moved in.
02:33So we moved in here June of 2012.
02:36She's been right up at that 6'8"-6'9 level for at least a couple years now.
02:42Going to public spaces, a lot of people stare.
02:47And they take pictures without asking, and it's kind of annoying.
02:53On today's shopping spree, I'm hoping to find some back-to-school clothes.
02:58Some t-shirts and shorts, or comfy clothes.
03:01So one thing she does not like to do as a girl, which I find totally crazy, she hates to shop.
03:06As you will see when we are out and about, that shopping for her is harder than the average girl.
03:15Shopping for clothes? I don't wear certain things, like jeans, because I can never find any that fit me.
03:36The hardest part about finding clothes for girls that have longer legs, or especially have the longest legs,
03:44are going to be that our sizes run small, medium, large.
03:48So it would be really difficult to have something specifically tailored for her.
03:59I mean, they're cute!
04:01I mean, they fit you everywhere other than them being too short.
04:03They fit you well everywhere else.
04:05Just don't get a half-rolled, half-unrolled one.
04:13I've known Macy for like, actually my entire life, except for like a month since I was born in February, and she's born in March.
04:21When she got taller than my sister, who's four years older than me,
04:26I was like, oh my god, she's so tall.
04:29When she got taller than my sister, who's four years older than all of us,
04:34I was like, oh wait a minute, that's different.
04:44I don't really think about my leg length.
04:48I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
04:58I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:00I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:02I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:04I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:06I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:08I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:10I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:12I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:14I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:16I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
05:18I mean, it's cool, I guess, but like, I'm just tall.
