US super ship hits Melbourne port so sailors can get out of town

00:00I thank the U.S. Navy and Cathay Spilner for bringing this amazing ship here to Melbourne.

00:21We also have a full sterilization room over here so we can do minor procedures here.

00:31Most of the crew are active duty Navy like me, but we've also got 138 right now civilians on board.

00:37They run our engine room, they run our cranes, they actually do the navigation from the bridge,

00:42they do a lot of the line handling, and they do all the food service on board and a few other tasks too.

00:46Actually coming to a wide range of ports and a wide range of countries and servicing the widest possible range of customers
