00:06What is the main difference in

00:08your mind between links golf and

00:10what we're used to here

00:11stateside? I think there are two

00:13main differences. It's what

00:15happens when the ball is in the

00:16air and what happens when the

00:17ball is on the ground. And so I

00:19think the the wind of course we

00:21have wind here in the states.

00:22There are a number of locations

00:23that have that sort of feature

00:24but the way the wind changes so

00:26much over there and and here's a

00:28good example yesterday. These

00:29guys are out playing practice

00:30rounds and sort of a north

00:31northwest wind that makes the

00:33front nine considerably easier.

00:35In fact, I heard Bryson drove

00:36maybe four or five greens on a

00:38par fours on the front nine and

00:40made the back not considerably

00:41harder. We're going to get to

00:43the tournament and that wind is

00:44going to flip and it's going to

00:45turn to a south southwest sort

00:47of wind. So it you really can't

00:49have some sort of a set game

00:51plan here without knowing what

00:53the conditions are going to be

00:54and they're going to change so

00:55much that you have to have that

00:56sort of flexibility and ability

00:57to kind of say, well, I like to

00:58hit this type of shot in this

00:59one that maybe I got to do

01:00something different. So that's

01:01one two is you got to understand

01:04what's going to happen when the

01:05ball gets on the ground. I mean

01:06there are times where guys are

01:07going to hit shots that are

01:08going to land 30 40 50 yards

01:11short of these greens and

01:12because the ground is so firm

01:14over there, they can kind of run

01:16it in use the contours use the

01:18slopes to kind of chase a ball

01:19up to where they want to get it

01:20to go which is very different

01:21from what you see on most tour

01:24tracks here in the states where

01:26guys are hitting the ball high

01:27with a ton of spin. They're

01:28stopping it close to the pin

01:29and and that's how you're going

01:31to score on an American track.

01:32So it's it's it's it's

01:34delightful golf. It's pretty

01:36much my favorite major of the

01:37year for that reason the

01:38creativity that comes out and I

01:40can't wait to see what sort of

01:41test Royal Troon poses this

01:42week.
